FMR is a Dubai-headquartered fit-out and technical services contractor — delivering restaurants, mall units, commercial kitchens and food trucks across the UAE — and serving clients into Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East — then maintaining them long after handover.
Our story
Why we keep everything in-house
FMR is led by Firoz Mahmud Rana — the initials above the door. Across his career he has delivered more than 630 projects, and that experience is what the business is built on.
Fit-out, MEP, commercial kitchens, joinery and maintenance sit inside one business at FMR. Rather than subcontract the hard parts, we built the disciplines ourselves — so there is one contract, one programme and one team answerable for the result.
That matters most in hospitality, where a mall handover date is fixed and a kitchen has to pass Civil Defence before it can trade. Our projects are handed over certified — Dubai Civil Defence, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence and DEWA — because approvals are run in-house alongside the build, not chased afterwards.
Clients come back. Joe & The Juice trusted us with Dubai Festival City and then Marina Mall, which we now maintain. Zafran brought us back for Dubai Hills Mall. Dave's Hot Chicken went from a Dubai food truck to their Yas Mall store. We have looked after The London Project at Dubai Harbour since 2023.

Black Tap — Craft Burgers delivered in Dubai, with 24/7 support that still runs today.
- 2023
Joe & The Juice at Dubai Festival City and the first Zafran fit-out; maintenance begins for The London Project at Dubai Harbour.
- 2024
Zafran at Dubai Hills Mall completed for Landmark Hospitality, and a Dave's Hot Chicken food truck built out.
- 2025
Dave's Hot Chicken opens at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi — alongside Hanu, Dip Dash and a second Joe & The Juice at Marina Mall, now on an ongoing AMC.
- 2026
Qasmieh Al-Fawal and a private outdoor kitchen handed over; a premium commercial kitchen currently on site.
