FMR is led by Firoz Mahmud Rana — the initials above the door. His own career runs to more than 400 projects across the UAE and the GCC, delivered in previous roles as well as here, and that experience is what the business is built on.

Fit-out, MEP, commercial kitchens, joinery and maintenance sit inside one business at FMR. Rather than subcontract the hard parts, we built the disciplines ourselves — a team of 25 to 30 in-house civil engineers, MEP specialists, fabricators, masons, carpenters, painters and welders, and a 3,000 sq ft joinery and stainless steel fabrication workshop in Sharjah, where counters, cladding and bespoke furniture are made and pre-assembled before they reach site. One contract, one programme, one team answerable for the result.

That matters most in hospitality, where a mall handover date is fixed and a kitchen has to pass Civil Defence before it can trade. Submittals and approvals are run in-house alongside the build rather than chased afterwards — Dubai Municipality, Dubai and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, DEWA connections, Food Safety, and the mall and landlord NOCs that decide whether a unit can open at all.
